WOMAN UNTIES HUSBAND COWS TO PAY HER OWN DOWRY

A woman in Kenya decided to untie the livestock in her husband's home and slowly drove them to her parents' home. In a culture where men are meant to pay the bride-price, this lady decided to take matters into her own hands citing that she had lived with him for many years and he was taking too long to reward her parents for raising her. This act did not only leave her neighbors shocked but the entire country talking.
My thoughts on this; I will not judge her as I have not walked in her shoe. All I know is, parents deserve to be honored, maybe not with cows and goats but with their daughter being taken good care of; after all you cannot put a price of someone.
