Congrats Higher Purpose

Higher Purpose Co., a Black-owned nonprofit in Mississippi, has secured a $2.2 million grant from the Delta Regional Authority and the U.S. Economic Development Administration.

The funding will support the development of the Higher Purpose Hub in Clarksdale, which aims to boost economic opportunities by providing essential services, creating jobs, improving access to fresh food, and enhancing arts and culture programs.

Founded in 2016, Higher Purpose Co. focuses on uplifting Black communities impacted by poverty in Mississippi.
